Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Philo Ventures Headquarters, Lehi, UT, with the expectation of travel to outdoor locations as needed.

Following successful product development and early market validation, we are seeking a sales and operations-focused COO to accelerate our go-to-market strategy and scale our business operations.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on operational leader with proven experience in scaling sales operations and go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership within the automotive aftermarket, outdoor recreation, or consumer goods industries. This role requires someone who can build and lead high-performing sales teams while optimizing operational efficiency across the organization. Experience in coordinating manufacturing and supply chain is a plus. As a key member of our lean team, you will work closely with Philo Ventures leadership to execute our growth strategy and scale the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales and go-to-market strategies to accelerate revenue growth
• Build and lead a high-performing sales team, establishing metrics, processes, and accountability systems
• Optimize operational efficiency across manufacturing, supply chain, and fulfillment
• Manage key channel partnerships and develop new distribution opportunities
• Drive customer acquisition and retention through strategic marketing initiatives
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring operational excellence and scalability
• Collaborate with product team to ensure market feedback informs product development
• Manage budgets and resources to achieve profitable growth targets
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Jeep partnership
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of scaling revenue and building successful sales teams
• Experience in automotive aftermarket, outdoor recreation, or consumer goods industries
• Strong operational background with understanding of manufacturing and supply chain
• Data-driven decision-maker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with e-commerce and multi-channel sales strategies
• Outstanding communication and team leadership abilities
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
• Personal interest in overlanding and outdoor recreation is a plus
