Function
As a Claims Data Specialist, you are responsible for collecting claim information from involved parties to initial new claims, maintaining accurate claim payment records, updating claims records in the CRM Event database, and assisting the Claims Department as needed including reporting claims to insurers as directed. Claims tasks may involve interacting with claim adjusters, managers, and vendors. The Claims Data Specialist contributes to Claim and Safety related goals by generating or updating reports and assisting with projects as needed.

The Claims Data Specialist contributes to Claim and Safety related goals by generating or updating reports and assisting with projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a diary system to review established claims in the CRM Database; follows next steps in action plans to move claims toward resolution; emails status templates, documents contacts and progress towards resolution in CRM file notes.
- Contacts vendors and location managers to confirm repairs are scheduled or completed; provide estimates, photos, and/or invoices as requested by claim adjusters and consult with the Claim Manager when further intervention is needed.
- Online and phone reporting of new claims to insurer as directed in first 24-48 hrs. Updates claimant information, claim numbers and contacts in CRM Database. Request documents via phone or email.
- Enters claim financial transactions into the CRM database.
- Generates formatted Claim reports as directed.
- Assist with development of Claim Process & Reference material.
- Assist with claim and safety projects as needed, including attending CRM database enhancement planning meetings.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in claim or customer service
- Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
