Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Greet patient customers and triage their needs, then access the appropriate Company staff to address those needs.
  • Receive, triage and/or resolve inbound phone calls from healthcare providers and patients regarding products and services such as medical equipment or medical testing.
  • Receive and manage fax referrals from medical Providers, entering the patient demographics into the database and processing the orders.
  • Work closely with the reimbursement department to provide thorough and timely documentation of services performed along with complete patient demographics, insurance details and support documentation.
  • Answer and route calls for a multi phone system, greet patients, insurance verification, and scheduling.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must have excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and helping others.
  • Superior organizational skills, e.g., filing, computer, word processing, etc.
  • Results focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skill in complaint resolution.
  • General personal computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to deal pleasantly, patiently and effectively with others, including geriatric patients.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Traditional and Medicaid insurance benefits a plus.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
  • Candidates considered for hire will need to submit to a criminal background check

Salary Description

$15-18/hr based on experience
