Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children.

The Community and Social Services team is dedicated to helping patients and their families cope more effectively with the life changes and challenges associated with a hospitalization. These experienced professionals are vital components of a multidisciplinary health care team that supports hospitalization and health care treatment in a variety of ways.

If you are compassionate and empathetic, you could be our next Social Worker, providing invaluable counseling and guidance services to patients and their families. Responsibilities include providing assessment, counseling and referral services to patients and their families.

Work Schedule: Rotating - 8 Hours

Work Type: Per Diem

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai’i Social Work license.

Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years social worker outpatient clinic experience preferred. Familiarity with community resources.
