Junior Construction Project Manager

Location: Wilson, NC

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Wilson, NC. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in construction project management and a strong desire to grow within the industry. The Junior Construction Project Manager will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and report on status, including any issues or delays.
• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Assist in the resolution of any project-related issues or conflicts.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in construction project management or a related role.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project management software (e.g., P6 Primavera, MS Project).
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
• Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
