Quality Engineering Intern

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in defining and developing products and processes in both the development and manufacturing environment. *This position will be fully on-site in Enfield, CT.*

Key Responsibilities:

• Works on developing processes and documentation for new or modified products.
• Identify and specify materials, tools, and equipment required to support engineering.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and implement process improvements for current products in production.
• Communicate with engineering team as required on development and manufacturing activities.
• Troubleshoot processes when part failures occur; diagnose issues and report to engineering and manufacturing.
  
  
  

Must Have:

• 2 years minimum completed towards an engineering degree.
• Must be able read, write and speak fluent English.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite.
• Above average oral and written communications skills with in-house technical personnel and outside vendors and customers.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, technical writing, materials properties.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
  
  
  

The pay rate for this internship is $20/hour.
