Position Purpose:

Responsible for front desk, as well as human resources and finance/accounting support.

Essential Functions:

Receptionist/Switchboard Accountabilities

  • Answers switchboard in a polite and professional manner.
  • Greets and directs guests/visitors in a professional manner.
  • Ability to utilize the automated front entrance visitor log-in system (Touch Screen TV).
  • Mailroom administration to include outbound and inbound mailings and overnight shipping (i.e., UPS, Fed Ex, or DHL).
  • Order office supplies.
  • Maintain and update Employee Training and Education files per IATF16949 procedures.

Finance/Accounting Accountabilities

  • Invoice review and mailings.
  • A/P check distribution mailing.
  • Process Purchase Orders.
  • Utilize the EAM / QAD System.
  • Assist other departments with clerical duties as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

  • High School/GED required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of switchboard/office experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook is a must.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.

Environmental Conditions

  • Office setting.
  • Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.

Behavioral Traits

  • Able to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Solid written/verbal communication.
