About the Team:

People & Culture is the HR Department at Invoca. We make sure that all P&C applications are running smoothly, along with working with several different departments in G&A. We're also part of the entire employee lifecycle process, and have multiple touchpoints.

About the Role:

Invoca is looking for a service-oriented and efficient People & Culture (Human Resources) Coordinator to support and assist with the day-to-day operations and continued growth at Invoca. Reporting to the Manager of People Operations, you will provide operational support, helping us focus on the entire employee experience, supporting HR programs, fostering company culture, and managing employee engagement activities while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

You Will:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist in the recruitment process and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring calendar invites are sent to new hires, welcoming new hires on their first day, making sure that a smooth transition is facilitated.
    • Ensure new hires have all the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their role.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture:
    • Organize and coordinate employee engagement activities such as team-building events, wellness initiatives, and company celebrations.
    • Promote and foster a positive company culture aligned with organizational values.
    • Support the development of internal communication strategies to improve employee morale and engagement.
  • Training & Development:
    • Coordinate learning and development programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee skills.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Provide administrative support for employee relations issues and assist in resolving minor conflicts or concerns.
    • Maintain employee records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • HR Administration:
    • Help maintain HR databases and employee records in compliance with legal and company policies.
    • Assist with benefits administration.
    • Handle general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing HR communications, and preparing documentation.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Act as a point of contact for employees with HR or culture-related inquiries.
    • Participate in and support other ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related administrative role
  • A commitment to helping others and demonstrated success in a role requiring extensive customer interaction
  • Excellent organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines while managing conflicting priorities
  • The ability to handle confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy
  • Experience in problem-solving to resolve issues. Must be able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Slack, and the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
  • Interest in Human Resources

We are a remote-first company, but prefer candidates in the Pacific and Mountain time zones.
