Our Overland Park, KS location is looking for a Contracts Administrator.

You will serve as a centralized, cross-functional team member who plays a vital role in facilitating and driving complex, high-value deals through the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage client stakeholders and build and maintain relationships with key individuals across multiple levels (primary contact, executives, sales, procurement, accounts payable/receivable, legal, etc.)
  • Process required paperwork requests such as software agreements, contract amendments, and sales orders
  • Advise internal clients on the interpretation of contractual approaches and assist in resolving a wide range of contract related issues
  • Prepare order form documents for additional software purchases and process orders
  • Support a portfolio of contracts throughout the lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
  • Work extensively with internal software systems (Salesforce) to process transactions and ensure the accuracy of related documents
  • Work additional or irregular hours, as needed, and allowed by local regulations especially at the end of each Quarter
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
  • Thrive in a face-paced environment, managing competing priorities

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field, or combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years' experience in contracts and/or legal and/or administration
  • Experience working with a Sales team in a contracts management role
  • Past experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Self-motivated, creative, and results-driven
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Direct work experience with Document Management Systems (DMS), e.g., Salesforce and DocuSign preferred
  • Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office applications, to include PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Demonstrable proficiency in learning and working with new software systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contract negotiation experience, including drafting, redlining, and negotiating software agreements, service orders, NDAs, and other contractual documents
  • Contract analysis and interpretation including experience abstracting contractual rights and obligations, and summarizing contractual requirements for both non-legal team members and executive leadership
  • Previous software industry and SaaS-based product experience

Starting Salary Range: $72,000 – $103,000 per year

We build the no-code enterprise application platform (a.k.a. “EAP”) that is used by Nextworld’s customers and partners to create and run enterprise-grade business solutions. We have a knack for abstracting complex technical concepts into no-code facilities that are straightforward to use. The Platform allows for the development and execution of involved, integrated business applications — complete with workflow, business logic, eventing, external callouts, notifications, various user experiences, artificial intelligence, and more. Examples of applications suites built on the Platform are enterprise financials, sales, inventory, manufacturing, and real estate.

Position located in Overland Park, KS. Nextworld's hybrid model has co-location in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after the initial training period for the role.
