Star is looking for an energetic, passionate and people-focused Marketing Specialist for our Sunnyvale coworking location. This role is the heartbeat of Star Space Sunnyvale, where you’ll be responsible for growing the coworking community and helping to create an environment that reflects warmth and hospitality.

You will find new and creative ways to promote Star Space, showcase our space to potential new members, and ensure our current members have a positive, thriving experience.

You are client-focused, emotionally intelligent, hospitality focused, and eager to get hands-on in building a collaborative and welcoming environment.

Qualifications & experience:

Must have:

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with potential new and existing members, as well as Star employees at all levels;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
• Detail-oriented with a curiosity for seeking new ways to improve;
• Passion for building community and delivering a best-in-class coworking experience.
  
  

Should have:

• 1+ years of experience in administration/operations, marketing, and/or hospitality;
• Proficiency with modern workspace collaboration tools and impactful presentation/slide-deck preparation;
• Experience managing social media channels;
• Excellent time management skills.
  
  

Nice to have:

• A passion for design and/or hospitality;
• Experience in a start-up or small business environment;
• Customer-facing sales or marketing role experience.
  
  

What Impact You’ll Make

• Create, manage, and execute local marketing communications strategies (including digital ads, social media, promotions, and events) in collaboration with the other Star Space team members;
• Proactively find and reach out to new leads for coworking membership and events;
• Assist with organizing both internal and external events;
• Support membership growth alongside the Community Manager by responding to incoming inquiries, hosting office tours, and promoting our brand;
• Assist the Community Manager in onboarding new members;
• Help maintain a well-organized and tidy coworking space at all times, in coordination with the Community Manager;
• Provide additional support to the Community Manager as needed.
