The Stop & Shop marketing team is looking for a Brand Marketing Coordinator that has passion for brand building and managing social media channels. This role will collaborate with the digital marketing and public relations team to ensure optimal execution and management of social channels, content, budget, and overall brand sentiment. This is a position for a highly motivated candidate that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, across various channels.

This role will collaborate with the digital marketing and public relations team to ensure optimal execution and management of social channels, content, budget, and overall brand sentiment. Job Responsibilities
- Manages an up-to-date customer-centric, social media calendar that delivers the brand message with an optimal mix of relevant and timely content
- Serves as a key liaison between the marketing team and advertising agency for content development needs
- Manages monthly scheduling and posting of social content both within platform and in social media content management platform
- Conducts social listening and manages reporting on a regular basis
- Stays in touch on social media trends
- Crises reporting (reviews comments and generates reports as needed)
- Main point of contact for crises management execution within digital & social channels
- Audits of crisis activation documents, process & contacts as needed
- Manages brand safety guidelines and keyword analysis in partnership with agency partner
- Coordinates with Consumer Affairs to craft consistent and appropriate responses to customer questions and concerns, and especially for any food safety or recall news
- Approves responses for customer care team (routing through appropriate internal stakeholders and approvals)
- Forwards appropriate positive and negative feedback from social platforms, like Facebook & Twitter posts to relevant internal parties
- Meets regularly with marketing strategists to share information and coordinate plans – responsible for creating alignment in social media messaging that compliment other tactics for marketing programs
- Engage with local marketing team to support appropriate events and activities and manages creation of timely content
- Will support a variety of marketing programs, with strong emphasis in social and digital channels
- Will support budget management (updating budget tracker, submitting invoices, etc.)
- Works independently with high-level of initiative
- At least 3+ years related online marketing and overall digital media/social experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong collaboration and project management skills
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to navigate a fast-paced environment
- Requirement to work in office 3 days each week
