Position Summary. The Bookkeeper is a part of the Finance team and is responsible for ensuring timely billing, grant reporting, and collections for all Jubilee entities. This person reports to the Accounting Manager and is an hourly/FLSA nonexempt employee. This position is fully remote

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage billing to the specifications of funding sources
  • Manage grant reporting to the specifications of funding sources
  • Reconciliation and resolution of MITC records to EVV records
  • Reconciliation and resolution of billed records to payments received
  • Collection of past due bills
  • Recommend processes to mitigate discrepancies and errors in related operations
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Anticipate and proactively suggest ways to enhance efficiency or quality of work and recommend when appropriate.
  • Be a team player across the organization and participate in regular meetings of primary team, management team, agency wide, strategic planning, and such
  • Assume responsibility for tasks or projects delegated by the Accounting Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 6 credits of college level accounting classes
  • 2 or more years accounting experience
  • Excellent “people” skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Very strong technology skills to effectively use these systems and applications: Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Dynamics, MITC, PCIS2, LTSS, ISAS
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, results-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and take initiative and make recommendations in resolving problems
  • True passion for the mission of the organization; desire to work with and learn from people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Must reside/be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
