Salary Range: $50,000k-$60,000k

About Us: Colonial Gardens, located in Blue Springs, MO, was added to our brand family in 2016. Founded in 1969, renovations began in 2017 to create an agritourism destination. It is the garden center, reimagined! We offer a greenhouse, nursery, café and coffee shop, event space, and farmer’s market. It’s where plants, food and farms connect. Educational classes promoting local agriculture and sustainability as well as private events are also offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Landscape Revenue: Boost landscape revenue by partnering with the landscape department manager and synchronizing efforts with sales and designs sold to ensure efficient project execution. Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction while skillfully overseeing project scope, pricing, and customer interactions to enhance overall profitability.
• Project Management: Oversee project management processes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control, to guarantee timely completion of landscape projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  
  

Essential Job Duties

• Prepare work orders in advance and effectively communicate them to the crews
• Coordinate and guide teams on various complex tasks, effectively scheduling crews to optimize productivity
• Ensure that all necessary materials are available on-site for seamless project execution
• Act as a key liaison between the Landscape Department Manager and the crews to report on execution and process progress, ensuring alignment with departmental goals
• Visit job sites to verify design accuracy and compliance within project parameters, providing punch lists as necessary for final completion
• Monitor job site costs to enhance project profitability
• Conduct all client interactions post-contract signing, adhering to a 24-hour response time for inquiries via phone or email
• Work directly with customers for product replacements and solutions and resolve issues in the field
• Responsible for customer satisfaction through customer service surveys
• Responsible for customer billing and collections, preparing updates on Accounts Receivable to Services Manager
• Regularly check and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order, easily accessible, and adequately stocked
• Conduct quarterly inventory assessments for all worksite assets
• Enforce safety regulations to promote a secure work environment for all crew members
• Maintain thorough records of project details and communications
• Participate in physical labor, demonstrating proficiency in various landscape installation tasks while leading by example
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support overall operations and project success

Minimum Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Business Management, Landscape Construction or a related field
• Required: 3+ years of equivalent experience in landscape installation and project management
• Required: 3+ years of crew supervision
• Preferred: Trade Certification
