Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. In addition, this position will also support benefits administration, employee relations, leave of absence, training, performance management, and all related Human Resources administrative tasks. The HR Business Partner also ensures compliance with all Human Resources policies, federal, state and local regulations as well as EEOC requirements.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Human Resources Manager and serve as Human Resources liaison in all phases of human resources, such as employee engagement, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training and development, succession planning, leave of absences, compliance, performance reviews and employee services.
- Conducts weekly, monthly, or quarterly meetings with respective departments.
- Consults with line management, providing day-to-day guidance on HR matters, help align people management practices that support and drive high performance.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and addresses grievances effectively. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Attend and participate in employee probation period and disciplinary meetings, as well as terminations. Execute all employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to.
- Draft and implement HR policies.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Identifies training needs for business units
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Provide support in all functional areas of HR as needed including HRIS System. Ensure data accuracy and integrity when generating reports for HR metrics and analytics.
- Assist with other special projects and HR initiatives
- Update and maintain HR policies as well as employee handbook
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in supporting Human Resources activities.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong ability to deliver messages with diplomacy
- Good organizational skills, high attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Organized problem-solver, critical thinker and multi-tasker
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Ability to prioritize assignments, meet critical deadlines and manage various projects
- Knowledge of federal and state laws as well as government regulations.
- Ability to form positive and constructive relationships with managers and employees.
- Ability to preserve confidential information is required.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of six years demonstrated experience in an HR professional or generalist/ role supporting a blended exempt/non-exempt workforce. Experience working in manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience being a true business partner
- Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system.
- The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis.
- SHRM certification preferred, but required if education is not in HR related field.
- Must be able to operate in a Windows environment proficiently. High proficiency in MS Excel and MS Work to meet reporting needs, as well as experience with electronic documentation systems and ERP systems requisition modules.
