About Workshop Ventures
Workshop Ventures is a venture studio that partners with founders to build startups in climate and education. Led by Chad and Eleanor Laurans, co-founders of SimpliSafe, our team of entrepreneurs, engineers, and strategists leverages deep industry and customer insights to identify urgent, unsolved problems and supports founders in developing breakthrough innovations. We work with 2-4 companies at a time, enabling us to provide our full attention and resources to each founding team. We also provide funding to our companies, as well as make select investments outside the studio.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Associate to join our core team. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with our partners and portfolio companies while learning the venture studio model from the ground up. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities with a bias toward action and experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. The role is a hybrid between investing and entrepreneurship.
