About the Opportunity:

We are hiring a FP&A Manager or a Senior FP&A Manager, based in the Oakland area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor of the finance team and work for a company experiencing a period of rapid growth. You'll be responsible for the consolidation of our P&L and be the finance business partner to departments in G&A and R&D. This is a high impact, individual contributor role that will drive key business decisions and be a force in VuMedi's growth trajectory.

What You'll Do:

• Be a strategic business partner to leaders in G&A and R&D departments. This includes end to end P&L forecasting (HC & OpEx planning), annual planning, budget vs. actual variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling support.
• Own the consolidation of the P&L and Balance Sheet forecast. Be the point person for the day to day maintenance of VuMedi's financial model.
• Be our Adaptive Planning power user. Know our instance inside and out and continually develop and implement improvements.
• Support and drive the generation of monthly and quarterly reports for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities by identifying inefficiencies or excess spending.
• Assist in long-term strategic planning, including annual planning, trends within our industry, and competitive analysis.
• Work to continuously develop and improve existing FP&A processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, analysis, or corporate finance. SaaS / Healthcare / Startup experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Adaptive Planning, Excel, and financial modeling.
• Competent with all GAAP principles and experience working directly with Accounting teams.
• Experience integrating AI tools in FP&A processes preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
