Professional Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 5 years related experience as a cinema projection and sound technician; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a mastery of electronic and mechanical knowledge as it relates to the modern cinema.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
An electrical license is desirable, but not required. Must have a valid driver’s license, and an insured, road-worthy automobile.
Net + certification is highly desirable.
A+ certification is highly desirable.
Language Ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills

Responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The work environment is comprised of a lab for projector testing and disassembly, a warehouse for storage of equipment, and an office for administrative duties. - Regular and consistent attendance
- Administer the affairs of the region.
- Travel to theatre locations within the assigned region.
- Ensure the successful implementation of projection and sound technology within the assigned region.
- Supervise Technical Services resources required to meet company objectives within the assigned region.
- Assist with new theatre installations and equipment upgrades.
- Drive the regional team to make Regal the Best Place to Watch a Movie.
- Maintain current hardware and software technology expertise within the assigned region.
- Stay updated on new technologies and productivity tools.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop consistent standards, policies, and procedures for Technical Services - US.
- Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities to all direct reports.
- Make technical decisions regarding the serviceability of existing equipment and provide recommendations for new technology.
- Maintain interdepartmental communications with Theatre Operations Regional Director to ensure all technical needs within the region are being met.

- Provide direction and leadership to staff; guide, coach, mentor and develop staff ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
- Handle interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, and counseling of staff.
- Develop and maintain staff by applying the necessary training and leadership that will allow internal growth and advancement.
- Direct staff, to ensure that all duties are performed according to department performance standards and company policy.
