Job Overview

Doug Egner Plumbing Medical Gas LLC is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our high-profile commercial plumbing and medical gas projects. This role is essential to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep expertise in plumbing and medical gas systems and a track record of successfully managing field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations on multiple commercial plumbing and medical gas projects.
  • Ensure compliance with plumbing and medical gas codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee project scheduling, material procurement, and workforce management.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise foreman, plumbers, and technicians.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and engineers to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures to maintain excellence in workmanship.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges efficiently to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain project documentation, including progress reports, safety logs, and compliance records.

Qualifications

  • Valid Plumbing & Medical Gas licenses (required).
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial plumbing and medical gas installations.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience as a Superintendent or Senior Foreman.
  • Expertise in reading blueprints, project specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations, building codes, and medical gas certifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on high-pressure, deadline-driven projects while maintaining quality and compliance.
