Description

Security Guard

The primary responsibility of the Security Guard is to oversee entry of all associates and visitors into the bakery, maintain secure standards in the bakery, audit security systems in the bakery, assist in investigations in the bakery and provide administrative support to department leaders as needed to support human safety and food safety.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leads and performs the administrative and operational duties for all security-related functions associated with an assigned shift.
• Supports and administers organizational security plans and operations.
• Maintains inventory of all security-related equipment and works with Managers on inventory.
• Assists with the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures based on policies determined by the Bakery Management to meet required codes and regulations.
• Assists with the preparation and maintenance all required security manuals.
• Maintains records, manuals and documentation.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.
• Performs all Security Officer duties assigned to a shift. Duties include performing investigations, auditing security systems in the bakery, monitoring facility for secure access, etc.
• Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property and meets required codes and regulations.
• Ensures Security Team shift priorities are followed based on policies and procedures.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with management, temp employees, BBU associates, visitors, and contractors.
• Supports and conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Reviews incident reports for clarity, correctness, and submits for approval.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Position Requirements

What you we need from you:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security.
• Extensive knowledge of the Data Center Security Best Practices.
• Command of the English language with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal methods. Spanish preferred.
• Occupational hazards and safety rules.
