We have an exciting opportunity for a Tool Crib Attendant I to join the team!
This is a JETS CBA position with Jacobs.
Responsibilities
- Issue and receive parts and tools in and out of tool crib areas to authorized personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory and location of tool crib stock in the approved database.
- Track tagged equipment.
- Maintain the work area in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
- Work will be under direct supervision with the exception of simple tasking.
- Store items in flammable storage cabinets as required.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with property audits, both external and internal.
- Remove or tag out damaged or broken tools or equipment, notify supervision.
- Perform related duties as required.
Requisition Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- General knowledge of tools, hardware, and storage of equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferences
- Previous attendant experience or other related logistics service.
- Inventory control experience.
- Property audit experience.

- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
