Process Engineer

Job Summary

Join Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, as a Process Engineer for a 12-month contract. As part of the Manufacturing Science team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring biologics manufacturing processes are efficient, compliant, and continuously improved. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership at manufacturing sites, anticipating and resolving production issues, contributing to the design of new processes and facilities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership at manufacturing sites including process monitoring, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement.
• Anticipate and resolve issues during production to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute expertise to the design of new processes and facilities with a focus on scalability and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead the development and utilization of digital process data analytic systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external functions to implement new product and process life cycle improvements.
  
  
  

Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctor’s Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or related disciplines with relevant experience in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles applied to problem-solving.
• Experience with downstream unit operations in biologics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cGMP concepts and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in process data analytics.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions autonomously, and navigate ambiguous circumstances effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree with 5 years OR Doctor’s Degree with 3 years in biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
