Cook (Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time)

Pay Range: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Location: The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen, Eau Claire, WI

About Us

The Phoenix Taproom & Kitchen is the Midwest's largest self-pour taproom, featuring a dynamic menu, a vibrant riverside patio, and a welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality food and exceptional service. We're looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our kitchen team as a Cook. This part-time role has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to our high-quality standards.
• Recipe Compliance: Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaboration: Work as part of a team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely food delivery to guests.
• Stock Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and notifying management of any shortages.
• Adaptability: Support other kitchen roles as needed and embrace opportunities to learn and grow.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous kitchen or cooking experience is preferred but not required; we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Skills: Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
