Our products range from large scale one-off custom Power Distribution, Control and Process systems to standard off-the-shelf electronic/electro-mechanical components. Reporting directly to the IT Director we are currently seeking a IT Specialist III for our Denver, CO facility.

Position Summary: The IT Support Specialist performs a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks to include maintenance of IT System User IDs, system security, HELP Desk Management, change documentation, software applications, hardware configuration and communication devices. Must be able to respond to calls at IE locations and work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.

Work Schedule: Day Shift

Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned

  • Monitor and resolve submitted help desk tickets
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users over the phone, via remote access, through e-mail or in person to resolve various computer- and network- related issues
  • Maintain and support all desktops, systems, applications and security related to local Networks, Cloud based operations, and any File and Print Servers
  • Work with deployment tools to roll out new equipment and assist users with any transition
  • Assist with backup and disaster recovery of all critical systems
  • Support internal documentation and asset management efforts
  • Ensure software and hardware compliance and conformance to established IE standards, security guidelines, and industry regulations
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems
  • Recover lost or deleted files
  • Virus and malware remediation
  • Troubleshoot user login problems
  • Maintains Wi-Fi
  • Maintain familiarity with current and emerging information technologies
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with business partners, teammates and vendors to perform job functions effectively
  • Plan and coordinate work to meet commitments and quality expectations
  • Ability to work independently or alongside vendors to solve complex problems
  • Maintain IT inventory
  • Self- sufficient; able to deploy computer and phone solutions.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
  • Maintains regular and consistent job attendance, comes to work on time

  • Follow and comply with IE safety program. Must maintain a safe and clean work area at all times

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 -7+ years of technical support experience in current desktop and laptop computers, various operating systems
  • IT Help Desk/User Support experience
  • PC Hardware setup and troubleshooting skills
  • VoIP desktop phone setup and installation
  • Good understanding of networks
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills with outstanding problem solving and customer support skills
  • Video Conferencing setup experience
  • Experience managing Microsoft products
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Self-starter with demonstrated skills to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manage time in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
