Strata is recruiting for a Business Operations Manager, which manages and directs operational and financial functions for Strata North America. Strata is a global geosynthetics manufacturer headquartered in India with locations in N. America and Europe. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to financial analysis, planning, purchasing, credit, IT systems, international trade, and other general business administration duties. Be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team headquartered in the US (Burlington, NC) and conducting business on an international scale.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage all aspects of Strata System’s North American financial conditions.
• Work with the General Manager to analyze financial trends and results with the goal of optimizing financial health of the organization
• Provide financial reports to help GM make managerial decisions
• Track and report deviations from business plan and forecast via variance analysis.
• Manage commission program monthly
• Identify and closely track KPIs in the areas of order quotations, lead times, sales rates, pricing, forecasts, inventory levels, and distribution.
• Plan and implement procurement strategies and tightly monitor sales forecast, inventory levels, raw material pricing, and material consumption to minimize costs and maximize sales potential.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize billing and credit, distribution, and other key business processes.
• Manage customer credit and collections under the guidance of the general manager.
• Oversee and actively manage Strata’s various rebate programs in support of the commercial team.
• Oversee standard and project-specific logistics and warehousing requirements by coordinating with key stakeholders: customers, market managers, Glen Raven Logistics, and Strata management.
• Maintain a continuous understanding of key trade-related issues to provide the company with strategic insight into their potential implications and recommendations for optimizing operations given dynamic trade conditions.
• Manage and maintain all import and export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with state taxation authorities as warranted.
• Oversee and coordinate all ERP, MRP, and CRM system platforms and integrations.
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance
• Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
• 5 -10+ years of experience in general, financial, and/or operational management
• International experience strongly preferred
• Geosynthetics, construction, engineering, and/or general manufacturing experience a plus
