The Land Acquisition Specialist researches and generates land-buying opportunities within targeted markets.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Utilizes effective relationship management skills to create buying opportunities with landowners
- Networks effectively with brokers, realtors, and city officials
- Initiates strategic project development opportunities
- Completes analytics of land topography, road, and utility conditions to determine viability of a project
- Oversees the early underwriting process to determine pursuit of a project
- Previous experience in real estate preferred
- Strong negotiation and listening skills required
- Ability to effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle
- Works in both temperature and non-temperature-controlled environments, with low to medium noise levels
- Prolonged periods of sitting required
- Occasionally required to walk, stand, and lift objects weighing up to 15 pounds
