What To Expect
The Sr. Manager of Claims, Insurance Services, is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a team of Managers, Supervisors, Senior Claims Representatives, and/or Specialists responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of claims under private passenger auto policies, while ensuring high-quality work product and continuously developing talent. The Sr. Manager of Claims promotes a culture of accountability, compliance, professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service. They must possess strong critical, conflict resolution, and time management skills. They must be able to dive deep into a topic, while simultaneously able to see the big picture, and adjust their approach to issues based on topic and audience.
What You'll Do
Independently develop and manage to KPIs or key analytical processes, focused on efficient and compliant claims handling and effective performance management of the claims organization Proactive coordination and management of day-to-day responsibilities such as: claims intake and investigation, policy and coverage reviews, and claims litigation Develop and analyze appropriate claims metrics and analyses to improve claims processes and overall customer experience and manage loss adjustment expenses Collaborate with the Product team to continually improve the policy forms Drive innovation in the continuous improvements to claims management platforms and processes, including leveraging available technology Provide clear, consistent communication and line of sight with Executive Leadership to maintain confidence in the Claims organization to achieve the goals of the Company Foster partnerships with affiliates, and manage vendors and other business partners to maximize efficiency and improve the customer journey
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Demonstrated understanding of the claims management processes, technologies and platforms, with track record of success and significant contribution leading to improved claims processes and standards Must remain current with industry trends and standards to ensure the claim adjudication process evolves to meet the needs of the organization and its customers Manage and oversee panel counsel to ensure effective representation of insureds with appropriate advice and counsel to the Company Ability to champion and action initiatives to improve employee development and engagement, claims handling and the consumer claims experience Must be a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills. Must exhibit excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to adapt to fast-paced, ever-changing environments
