Are you looking for that workplace where you can be part of a fun, energetic, and professional team that loves what they do? Our corporate office is growing and we are looking for a Director of Events Operations & Revenue (Camps & Parties) to join our Operations Team.

KidStrong is a program for kids ages 1-11 that uses certified coaches to help kids build the skills they need to become stronger and more confident. Overview:

KidStrong is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Event Operations & Revenue to lead the strategic development and execution of non-recurring revenue streams, including camps, birthday parties, and other special events for KidStrong Nation. This role will be pivotal in driving growth of KidStrong by managing strategic growth initiatives, ensuring world-class customer experiences, and effective partnerships. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to optimize revenue generation and create scalable systems that support both short-term and long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue from existing and new non-recurring revenue streams for KidStrong Nation, including camps, birthday parties, and other special events.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the Events and Sales teams, ensuring alignment with KidStrong's vision and values. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centric service across all event-related functions.
  • Sales & Marketing: Oversee sales and marketing efforts for KidStrong’s camps and birthday parties, ensuring effective promotional strategies, high attendance, and increased revenue. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to drive campaigns, attract new customers, and engage existing ones.
  • Operational Coordination: Partner with teams across the organization (Marketing, Programming, Training, and Operations) to create processes and systems that support the seamless execution of events, ensuring consistency and high-quality experiences for participants.
  • Financial Management: Work with the Finance team to review and manage budgets for events, monitor KPIs, and ensure profitability. Regularly assess financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization. Create Case Studies to convey the impact of initiatives.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and secure new corporate partnerships or collaborations that align with KidStrong’s mission, driving additional revenue streams and enhancing brand visibility. Manage existing partnerships to maximize value and impact.
  • Customer Experience & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all events maintain the highest quality standards in customer service, from event planning to execution. Consult with training teams to ensure event staff (Coaches) are well-prepared and equipped to deliver a top-tier KidStrong experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Franchise Development, Operations, and Marketing teams to align on business objectives and ensure consistent execution across all locations.
  • Franchise Partner partnership: Partner with Franchise Partners to identify opportunities and implement processes to drive business growth. Communicate the what and why effectively to gain buy-in and to achieve results for the Nation.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in leading teams responsible for large-scale service operations, particularly in the franchise environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing non-recurring revenue streams, such as camps, birthday parties, or other events in a franchise or multi-location business model.
  • Strong background in franchise operations, business development, and driving growth initiatives.


Leadership & Communication:

  • Ability to lead and influence teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative, results-driven manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights effectively to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships with internal teams, franchisees, and external partners.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
