ROLE INFORMATION

The role of a Trading Analyst includes portfolio trading, execution, money movement as well as model analysis, portfolio reporting, monitoring portfolio performance and exposures, back-office operational process and utilization of portfolio management/trading systems. This position will act independently within established investment policy guidelines while managing complex portfolios.

  • Location: Chicago
  • Compensation Structure: Base Salary + Bonus
  • Reports to: Frank Pecucci, Director, Trading

SPECIFIC ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily trading activity (Equities, ETFs, and Fixed Income) and account maintenance, following investment policies/guidelines and within designated portfolio models
  • Execution of complex investment strategies using advanced rebalancing software
  • Monitor cash balances and drift reports of managed portfolios
  • Maintain accurate portfolio accounting for all clients and accounts and trading system across all areas of the firm
  • Ensure smooth account transition process and accurate implementation of investment decisions, working closely with various internal departments
  • Work in partnership to support internal departments and committees
  • Assist with report generation
  • Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC and other governing entities, as well as internal compliance policies and procedures

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Economics preferred
  • 1-3 years’ experience required
  • Previous experience as a Trading Analyst and/or extensive industry experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player
