Since its establishment in 1974, LifePath has grown to include various programs and services, including residential programs, day program, a dedicated program serving medically fragile children and young adults, home and community based services, vocational programs, and independent living support services. The Director of Business Services Responsible for the day-to-day and long-term business affairs of LifePath, Inc. Manages business contracts, oversees the bidding process, and collaborates with Facilities, Finance, Operations, and other departments on key projects.
Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and oversee contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewals. Implement and manage bidding processes when required.
- Financial & Operational Collaboration: Work with Finance to align contracts with budget goals and with Facilities/Operations on project planning. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Development & Grants: Partner with Development, to provide information for grants and funding for projects as needed.
- Policy & Compliance: Establish and maintain business policies, ensuring adherence to best practices and procurement regulations.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and manage business services staff, providing guidance and oversight.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience: Five (5) years in contract negotiation, business policy development, and staff supervision. Nonprofit experience a plus.
- Skills: Strong business acumen, contract management, and financial knowledge. Grant funding experience preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in business software and contract management systems.
