Description

Role Mission: The Student Recruitment and Enrollment Manager contributes to the annual student enrollment cycle that starts with recruitment and ends with 100% enrollment on the first day of school. They support and coach their assigned region’s Enrollment Coordinators (ECs), who are campus-based staff that report to the Assistant Principal of Operations (APOs), in acquiring, nurturing, and converting prospective applicants into enrolled students. Responsibilities include leading regional EC tactical calls, managing field operations, and driving accountability to meet enrollment goals. The Manager reports to the Director of Enrollment and participates in national operating mechanisms and initiatives.

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities:

Achieve 100% enrollment by the 10th day of school

  • Use enrollment data to drive actions to close gaps through check-ins and communication.
  • Manage weekly Tactical meetings with ECs to strategize and share best practices.
  • Assist ECs with recruitment plans targeting families near schools.
  • Secure and manage recruitment events to support ECs.
  • Conduct field visits to provide ongoing support and feedback to ECs.

90% new student persistence

  • Collaborate with campuses for recruiting events and Info Sessions.
  • Monitor parent participation and engagement throughout the recruiting year.
  • Assist in planning and executing Welcome to IDEA events.
  • Ensure smooth family onboarding from Lottery to the first year of school.

100% of Enrollment Milestones Executed On-Time

  • Serve as system administrator in national enrollment systems.
  • Prepare enrollment systems ahead of milestones with internal partners.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for milestones.
  • Monitor progress toward goals and implement intervention strategies.

85% retention of Enrollment Coordinators

  • Oversee field activities and support ECs with ongoing visits.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding new ECs.
  • Continuously improve the EC role for satisfaction and retention.

Equipping ECs with Skills for Virtual Recruitment

  • Coach ECs on using various platforms for recruitment.
  • Develop resources for virtual and in-person recruitment.
  • Initiate a phone banking program across campuses.

Contribute Regional Insight to National Strategies

  • Support campuses during major enrollment milestones.
  • Assist with trainings for ECs and APOs.
  • Participate in tactical calls to share information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and recruitment
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
  • Bilingual preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in recruitment and data analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders

  • Salary range: $68,886 - $79,908 plus performance bonuses.
