ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is seeking a Product Development Intern to support our efforts in improving quality procedures across our Chicagoland sites. This role will serve as a liaison between our technical and quality teams, working closely on a cross-functional effort to standardize and enhance our quality processes.
Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hr. depending on education and experience.
Location: ProAmpac Chicagoland sites: Hanover Park, Franklin Park, and Cary, IL.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

ProAmpac, a leading global flexible packaging company, is seeking a Product Development Intern to support our efforts in improving quality procedures across our Chicagoland sites. This role will serve as a liaison between our technical and quality teams, working closely on a cross-functional effort to standardize and enhance our quality processes.

Location: ProAmpac Chicagoland sites: Hanover Park, Franklin Park, and Cary, IL.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Review and rewrite quality procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Align procedures across multiple locations, identifying gaps in current processes.
- Assess test procedures at our Cary and Hanover Park locations, observing them in action.
- Determine missing or necessary test procedures for Franklin Park and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality, Product Development, or a related field.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations)
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
