About The Opportunity

A renowned software development company is seeking a Data Scientist with expertise in ML techniques to improve their analytical capabilities. Their goal is to be the most customer-centric company where people can find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online.

Job Details

As a Data Scientist, you will demonstrate thorough technical knowledge on feature engineering of massive datasets, effective exploratory data analysis, and model building using industry standard AI/ML models and working with Large Language Models.

This role will be 5 days on-site in Thornton, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Use AI/ML Models and work with LLMs
  • Proficiency in both Supervised (Linear/Logistic Regression) and Unsupervised algorithms (k means clustering)
  • Exposure at implementing and operating stable, scalable data flow solutions from production systems into end-user facing applications/reports.
  • Training/Fine-tuning large data sets
  • Work closely with internal stake holders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience within Data Science or Analytics w/ ML techniques
  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar technical background
  • Knowledge of AWS tech stack (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, EC2, Glue)
  • Working knowledge of generative AI and hands on experience in deploying and hosting Large Foundational Models
  • Located around the Thornton, CO area and open to being on-site 5 days per week
