Job Overview: Night shift position (07:00 PM - 07:00 AM) conducting mental health crisis assessments and interventions in a hospital emergency department.
- Assess patients' suicide/harm risk and coordinate care with medical staff.
- Facilitate admissions to inpatient units and complete necessary legal paperwork.
- Promote outpatient care and develop safety plans for patients.
- Document assessments in electronic health records.
- Provide direct service interventions and coordinate referrals.
- Complete administrative paperwork and participate in professional development.
- Engage in teamwork and maintain communication with management.
- Participate in on-call rotation and other duties as needed.
