We are looking for a Collections Supervisor to lead our collections team, drive performance, and support our members with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

  • Oversee and manage the daily activities of the collections team.
  • Monitor and review collector work queues, assignments, and overall performance.
  • Train, mentor, and support newly hired collectors, ensuring their successful onboarding and adherence to performance standards.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing weekly delinquency reports to assess team performance.
  • Partner with the Director to track delinquency trends, charge-offs, and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Partner Success Plans to optimize collections strategies.

Decision-Making & Account Approvals

  • Review and authorize accounts for legal action, repossession, and charge-offs.
  • Approve special account arrangements, including settlements, payment extensions, due date modifications, and account re-writes.
  • Ensure accuracy in credit bureau reporting and oversee collateral sale processes.

Member & Stakeholder Support

  • Address and resolve escalated member concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between the collections department, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate seamless operations.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, including vacation, sick leave, and tardiness.
  • Support senior leadership with special projects, reports, and initiatives.

  • Actively contribute to policy compliance and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in collections or a related field, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
