Your Role And Responsibilities

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.

You Will Be Responsible For The Following

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers and QA to design, develop and deploy new platform features and functionality for our SaaS product.
  • Contribute to the design, development and maintenance of our Power BI implementation and all related components. This encompasses using Power BI Embedded, Power BI REST APIS and Power BI Service.
  • Uphold and continue to improve the quality standards of the BI implementation - including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability and usability by applying best practice processes and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the design and build evolution of the platform, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and easy to use.
  • Development of data retrieval stored procedures using SQL Server.
  • Uphold quality standards including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability and usability by applying best practice processes, methodologies and tools.
  • Contribute to engineering discussions across our platform.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining and administration of Power BI implementations – including architecture, gateways, design, implementation, and data modelling.
  • Solid understanding and exposure to Power BI components - including Power BI Embedded, Power BI REST APIs, Gateway, Power BI Service, etc.
  • Extensive experience with MSBI stack - SSAS Tabular Model, SSIS.
  • Experience with C# and .NET 4.5 or later.
  • You can demonstrate advanced T-SQL skills and will have experience with Microsoft SQL Server version 2014 / 2016 or later.
  • Experience with DAX.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Experience integrating Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics.
  • Experience in front-end development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, TypeScript, CSS.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Exposure to Azure.
  • Experience working on APIs.
