The Vice President of Operations will also be responsible for developing operational strategic plans which align with divisional and producer objectives.

- Develop a "best in class" client service platform, educate and implement consistently, including managing the packaging, templates, materials and evaluating annually to ensure continuous improvement
- Work with the operations leadership and the learning & development teams to develop and document training programs and materials for internal and external users
- Oversee the evaluation of workflows and processes in order to accurately align resources according to matrix, improve efficiency and improve the client experiences
- Define service personnel roles, expectations, and goals and work with colleagues to develop metrics and benchmarks to ensure efficiencies, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources
- Monitor key performance indicators, while ensuring attainment of objectives and taking corrective action as necessary
- Coach the leadership team as they work with service personnel, who are unable or unwilling to achieve service standards, follow procedures or demonstrate core values in the division/location
- Develop operational strategic plans and initiatives to advance the divisional missions and objectives
- Determine expense budgets and establish cost controls to maintain financial objectives as economic conditions fluctuate
- Develop, document and monitor succession planning for service personnel
- Leverage systems and technology to improve administrative processes, the client experience and achieve maximum efficiency
- Develop & implement individualized technical training for internal and external partners based on job function
- Administration of service personnel reviews, scheduling Personal Development Plans (PDP) and ongoing management
- Be able to concisely articulate plans at a strategic level
- Consistently stay up to date on Benefits, property, and casualty related issues and communicate updates to the division, as necessary
- Attend monthly Operations meetings with COO and/or other Operations Leaders to understand and successfully implement corporate initiatives within the division/location
- Timely complete and administer performance reviews for division/organizations staff, which includes managing compensation and variable compensation within HR guidelines
- Serve on the Operations Leadership Team and understand challenges and opportunities, make collective decisions and successfully implement
- corporate strategies within the division/location
- Travel to and collaborate with regional offices as needed to ensure alignment in processes, initiatives, and practices
- Motivate, inspire, support, develop, and lead direct reports, while addressing concerns and coaching them, when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A four-year degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
- Six years of experience in property and casualty and insurance operations preferred
- Four years of prior management preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
