Requirements / Qualifications

The Leadership Coach is an experienced and successful administrator who will provide 6-8 hours per month, for two years, of one-on-one coaching with a TCSJ candidate seeking a clear administrative credential. The coach will attend a mandatory two-day training session provided by ACSA. On-going training will be provided throughout the school year. The coach will complete all documents that provide evidence of their candidate's progress and collaborate with the candidate and TCSJ leadership to determine when the requirements for a clear administrative credential have been met.

Please be advised that your application will be considered incomplete if a formal letter of introduction, resume, one letter of recommendation and a copy of your credential are not attached to your on-line application. If you need assistance attaching your documents please call (209) 468-9161. Teachers College of San Joaquin accepts applications for part-time positions on a continuous basis. Although the position is posted year-round, it does not imply there are immediate openings. Applying helps the Teachers College of San Joaquin create a pool of applicants who are eager to work with one of the various programs offered at TCSJ. When there is an opening for an instructor for a particular course, the coordinator reviews applications to determine if there is an applicant with the appropriate experience, expertise, and credentials required to fill the position. If an applicant's background matches the needs of the course, the program coordinator will contact the applicant for further consideration to be hired. Applications are valid for approximately one year from submittal. If after one year, you have not been contacted but you wish to remain in the pool, you will need to re-apply.
