JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Assistant assists with receiving and handling incoming freight for the Bear Tooth, Moose's Tooth, and Eye Tooth restaurants. This role involves managing the secure processing and arrangement of goods, ensuring safe vehicle operation for deliveries, and placing local and online orders. The Assistant also helps with inventory management and seasonal changes for the restaurants. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Essential Functions
Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures.
- Handle, store, date, and rotate all products and freight properly.
- Promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager.
- Collect and fill requisition forms daily.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring all products are adequately stocked.
- Oversee the ordering process for supplies and ingredients, ensuring timely delivery to all restaurant locations.
- Track order shipments and resolve any issues with vendors or deliveries.
- Coordinate the distribution of goods to various restaurant locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Safely operate company vehicle on daily deliveries and errands.
- Accurately record and maintain product inventory and billing receipts.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all staff and vendors.
- Complete all opening, closing, and side duties.
- Work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect.
- Manage petty cash and receipts responsibly and diligently.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of warehouse areas.

Qualifications

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions
- Able to stand for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs; assistance is required for items over 50 lbs.
- Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Able to kneel, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and twist at the waist throughout the shift.
- Proficient in operating computers, inventory software, and other required equipment.
- Capable of maintaining balance on unsteady or uneven surfaces, navigating ladders, and negotiating stairs occasionally.
- Able to work in varying temperatures and environments.
- Safely and responsibly operate company vehicles.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of restaurant terminology.
- Basic accounting and money-handling skills.
