About the role

Join our dynamic team at BCD Meetings & Events as a Small Meeting Manager! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our clients, ensuring every detail from vendor partnerships to event logistics is executed flawlessly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for creating memorable experiences, we want to hear from you!

You're Good At

  • Consulting with clients to identify their objectives and make strategic recommendations
  • Managing multiple events and maintaining a detailed planning timeline
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and partners for optimal outcomes
  • Ensuring exceptional attendee experiences from registration to event execution
  • Collaborating with internal teams and maintaining strong vendor relationships

You Might Also Have

  • 1-3 years of experience in meeting or event planning
  • Strong organizational skills to manage various resources effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Cvent and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A knack for problem-solving under pressure while adapting to changing priorities

You should know:

  • This role is Hybrid for candidates located in Raleigh, NC
  • Our standard hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with an hour break.
  • You may be required to travel up to 10%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Small Meeting Manager is between $55,000 - $65,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
