You will report to the Sr. Manager, Analytical Science and Technology and work onsite at our CSL Seqirus location in Holly Springs, NC. Responsibilities

• With support, tests several components of the quality control program using chromatographic and mass spectrometry techniques, following company standards and GMP regulatory guidelines.
• Perform analytical testing using liquid chromatography (HPLC, UPLC), gas chromatography (GC), and mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS) following established methods and document test results.
• Evaluate the performance of analytical instruments, particularly chromatographic and mass spectrometric equipment, and recommend new acquisitions or replacements as needed.
• Author protocols and reports for method validation, suitability studies, and investigations to support testing and compliance issues.
• Ensure laboratory instruments, including chromatography and mass spectrometry systems, are qualified, calibrated, and properly maintained, with documentation complying with cGMP standards.
• Help develop and optimize new analytical methods, particularly for chemical separations and mass spectrometry applications, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience with chromatographic separation techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC) and mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS).
• Experience developing, optimizing, and reviewing SOPs related to chromatography and mass spectrometry methods.
