Salary Range: $94,900-$121,200/annually

Location: ONSITE in Oceanside, CA

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a skilled BI Analyst specializing in Databricks to join our dynamic BI team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data engineering, and data visualization, with specific expertise in using Databricks to transform and analyze data. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Ensure performance and security of data warehouse for both on-prem MS SQL and Azure SQL
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing best practices in data governance and validation.
• Develop and test effective backup and recovery for data warehouse including building fault tolerant ETLs
• Optimize data warehouse/data marts for performance and scale
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years as a database administrator or architect
• Advanced Microsoft SQL/Azure SQL skills and related tools.
• Experience with PL-SQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases
• Experience with on-prem and cloud transformation tools (SSIS, Data Factory, Data Bricks, etc)
• Experience with development tools such as .NET and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and others
• Experience with SSRS and other reporting and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
