Housing Coordinator

Salary Range: $13.00 To $14.15 Hourly

The Housing Coordinator is responsible for providing services to families and individuals in need of housing and services. These services may include providing general information and support to case manager and clients related to housing programs, developing action plans, providing an appropriate level of guidance and support, facilitating referrals, and serving as advocate on behalf of participant to assist them in securing services, entitlements, and support to reach their goals, particularly goals related to housing. Will perform data entry and coordination of reporting, ensuring client rent and utilities are paid and that necessary forms are present in client charts. Will interact with landlords, other agencies, other West Texas Homeless Network partners and clients on a daily basis in support of the housing program services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of one year working with individuals experiencing homelessness
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driver
• Require strong computer and internet research skills.
• Requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, maintaining a maximum level of confidentiality, project coordination, and the ability to work well with all levels of partners.
  
  

Will be eligible for a one and two year step increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
