8Fleet is hiring! 8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both non-autonomous and future autonomous rideshare fleets.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to support our recruiting process from start to finish. Senior Recruiter responsibilities include posting jobs ads, doing initial screenings, scheduling interviews, sourcing and brainstorming strategies. You’ll assist other recruiters, hiring teams and candidates so the hiring process can run smoothly. Ultimately, you’ll help our company find and hire the most qualified people for our open roles. If you’re enthusiastic about the world of recruiting, tech-savvy and an excellent communicator, we’d like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the full cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessments, and offering candidates
  • Sourcing candidates and maintaining an active candidate pipeline; Post job ads on professional sites and attract candidates through various channels, job boards, and social media
  • Devising sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Understand how to recruit both active and passive candidates
  • Build and cultivate relationships across the organization
  • Gather candidate feedback from interview teams
  • Manage the data associated with the recruitment process
  • Promote a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate background checks and drug tests
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through its completion
  • Follow up with and assist with the candidate’s transition and onboarding process
  • Network and build relationships with candidates and prospects
  • Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in recruiting
  • Deep understanding of recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases
  • Strong knowledge of candidates selection methods
  • Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)
  • Business acumen and market insight
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality

Nice to have:

  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $75,000 - 85,000
  • Plus annual bonus and stock option award
  • The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
