PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Create clear and accurate CAD drawings.
• Maintain accurate revision levels on CAD drawings.
• Assist with the creation of bills of materials (BOMs) and routings in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for new products.
• Support the maintenance of BOMs and routings in ERP system for current products.
• Assist in the creation of part numbers as needed.
• Perform special projects as assigned by management.
• Adhere to and promote all company standards and policies.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to perform calculations involving the use of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
• Effective oral and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
• Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong team work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn new systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and the ability to create and interpret CAD prints.
  
  

Required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Two-year technical college degree in manufacturing/mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one-year practical experience in a drafting capacity.
