Essential Job Functions

• Oversee the preparation and filing of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements, including the preparation and assist with the filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Manage the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and related materials.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit findings.
• Collaborate with the CFO and executive team to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and other financial stakeholders.
• Communicate financial results, trends, and insights to the executive team, board of directors, and investors.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting and financial reporting.
  
  

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required, MBA preferred.
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
• Proven experience in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
