Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator - Part Time
Reports To: Human Resources Generalist
Job Type: Part Time
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday. Standard business hours
Location: 2831 Research Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309.
This is a hybrid position involving both remote and in-office work (roughly 50% remote and 50% in-office), with the balance subject to change based on business requirements.

What does the Human Resources Coordinator do?
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and managing HR documentation
- Assist with all areas of hiring including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
- Assist with planning and executing of company events and employee engagement efforts
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
- Maintain and update the HRIS (Kronos) to ensure accurate employee data, reporting, and support for key HR processes
- Maintain the company's monthly newsletter
- Design and create content for social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
- Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and maintaining HRIS (Kronos) records
- Complete other HR and business projects as needed
What makes you qualified:
- Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent human resources experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Evidence of flexibility and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment; Must be able to provide/receive feedback to/from various team members
What makes you an All-Star:
- Comfortable around technologies that include tools such as HR information systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams)
- Demonstrates creativity skills
- Familiar with using Canva (online design tool) or equivalent design tools
- Event coordination experience
Can you meet these physical demands?
- Physical demands: Non-strenuous with low risk; primarily sedentary with some walking, standing, and carrying of light to moderate objects; Adequately lighted, ventilated and climate-controlled area where normal precautions must be observed.
- Work environment: Work is generally performed within a normal office environment using standard office equipment; Moderate noise typical of a business office; Travel for company business may be required to attend off-site meetings, etc.; May require early morning, night, and weekend work assignments; Interaction with contracted providers, staff, and vendors by phone and face-to-face will be persistant and may be disruptive.
Do you have clearance to work?
- Signing the Company non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.
- Acceptable results from a Company initiated background check.
- Compliance with the federal Form I-9 completion timelines and policies and confirmation of employment authorization by the U.S. federal electronic system, E-Verify.
- All newly-hired employees are queried through the U.S. federal electronic employment verification system, E-Verify. Section 1 of the Form I-9 may be completed upon your acceptance of this job offer, but no later than your first day of employment. On your first day, but no later than your third day, you will need to bring original documentation to verify your eligibility to work in the U.S.
