About This Opportunity

The Systems Planner (Planner) reports directly to the Department Manager. The Planner is responsible for managing the order processing, procurement, scheduling, commercial communication, and general process flow of projects through the organization.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders as received from Womack Machine Supply
  • Build project files for documentation (electronic and hard copy) and launch projects
  • Populate ERP system with components as released from Engineering
  • Procure all materials for job when released to do so and work with suppliers on expediting, pricing and delivery
  • Research and advise alternate sourcing options if specified component delivery does not meet schedule
  • Communicate quote and order information to the “outside world” as well as provide ongoing communication internally regarding the status of a project.
  • Invoice the customer after the project has been shipped.
  • Address accounting issues as required
  • Manage customer returns
  • Purchase miscellaneous supplies

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.

Education

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred (majors preferred are Business or Industrial Distribution); or High School diploma with at least seven years of experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment.
  • CAPM or PMP preferred but not required

Experience

  • 3-7 years’ experience in managing the order fulfillment processes of a manufacturing environment
  • Fabrication and project management experience
  • MS Office software programs – analysis and reporting
  • Experience procuring industrial equipment
  • Experience with ERP systems is desired

Physical Demands

Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting of items such as laptop computer, paper, books, and office materials. The work requires long stretches of time viewing a computer screen and performing keyboarding tasks.

Work Environment

While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. Work outside normal business hours is required from time to time. Overnight travel is required on occasion.

LOCATION:

Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Noblesville, IN facility.
