The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Manager with a robust background in Oracle technologies and government contracting (GovCon) to lead and elevate a mission-critical enterprise acquisition system for 6,000 users at USDA. This leadership role offers the chance to collaborate with top talent, shape innovative Oracle-based solutions, and contribute to impactful federal projects.

What You'll Do

As a Technical Manager, you will:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing technical team to deliver exceptional results.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Oracle-based solutions that align with federal requirements.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless system upgrades, tools, and application rollouts.
• Drive continuous improvement by mentoring team members, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-scope outcomes.
• Stay ahead of the curve with Oracle technologies, recommending strategic upgrades and improvements.
• Resolve complex technical challenges related to Oracle applications and databases
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation while ensuring regulatory and industry compliance.
• Actively contributes to business development efforts, helping retain and win new contracts.
  
  

What You Bring:

• Proven success as a Technical Manager in federal government contracting, with direct experience managing Oracle technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Databases, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, and related technologies.
• Strong track record in system operations, sustainment, and delivering complex projects.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with proposal and technical writing in the GovCon space.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with UNISON PRISM and Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
  
  

Education and Clearance Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  
  

Location and Work Flexibility:

• Based in the DC Metro Area, with telework options available.
• Occasional visits to client sites and company headquarters in Tampa, FL.
