Primary Purpose Of The Position
This position is responsible for supporting the development of projects with low to moderate complexity or working on complex projects in cooperation with more experienced personnel. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems, conducts work on assigned tasks and exhibits enough process knowledge to be able to operate in the field.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
The pay range for this position is 03 - SFE03: 71747 - 133245 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Selected candidates may be eligible for a number of benefits, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, as well as tire discounts.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
- Improve and enhance technical solutions to meet product requirements.
- Undersand available technology and standards. Consult with leadership on appropriate level of technology for application. Work on cross-functional teams to develop new technology. Avoid inappropriate level or risk.
- Make improvements or enhancements to current processes within functional group.
- Demonstrate ability to present technical ideas to others across teams.
- Drive new product concepts, processes, and technologies leading to innovations.
- Recognize and identify problems. Improve and enhance problem solving strategies.
- Collaborate to solve problems and make improved decisions. Work within culture to collaborate between teams and functions globally. Use tools, techniques, and innovative approaches to achieve improved decisions through collaboration.
- Improve and enhance known tools and methods to solve problems. Collect data to use in making decisions. Consult with resources. Apply skills to achieve impactful results. Creatively tackle unfamiliar problems effecively.
- Improve and enhance known data analysis techniques.
- Improve and enhance project management tools and standards of execution for assigned projects.
- Execute the steps required in initiating a project. Deliver project objectives through project planning. Offer enhancments that can be cross functional, divisional, or global in application.
- Continuously improve on project risk management process to drive higher levels of risk management.
- Enhance exiting project execution tools and techniques to deliver projects. Improve project closeout process.
- Enhance and improve existing conflict resolution process. Seek assistance when needed to resolve conflicts.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- PMP or similar project management certifications
- MS, PhD in related field.
- 2-5 years experience w/degree, 7-10 years equivalent experience w/o degree.
- Improve skills through application of knowledge gained from additional education/experience/training.
- Understand functional relationships of assigned division. Interact with team and organizations.
- Particpate in cross-functional assignment, projects, and divisional initiatives, for improved self development.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude. Actively contribute in meetings.
- Initiate open dialoge with peers and leadership on areas of concern. Select best means of communication.
- Provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within function.
- Volunteer for, or willingly accept, tasks assigned. Hold self accoutable.
- Take personal responsibility for team performance. Influence others to see alternative points of view.
- Assemble strategies to achieve assigned work. Apply lessons learned.
- Actively particpate in change process and understand the culture.
- Particpate in mentoring as a mentee.
