Job Description:

This opportunity is perfect for a self-driven and motivated individual looking to start or grow their career as a Patient Care Coordinator in the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our clinic.
  • Scheduling: Manage patient appointments and coordinate schedules to optimize clinic efficiency.
  • Administrative Support: Handle patient records, insurance verification, authorizations, and billing inquiries with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients and therapists, facilitating clear and effective communication.
  • Office Management: Maintain a well-organized and welcoming clinic environment.


Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
  • Must have open availability


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a patient care coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, therapists, and other staff members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage patient scheduling, records, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Empathetic and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
